Actually this is a proposal to DJI Software developers - why not create a function to take panoramic images automatically?
12 images in one-button-click and a software to create a projection onto a sphere on a computer (I don't care about the skies above the craft - let it be blue or grey or whatever user selects some preloaded "clouds" texture maps).

That's so simple, so productive and creative - just think about added value to your product.

This would be good

There is a free app for IOS that will take the panos. Called Dronepan. Works great, works with Inpsire and Phantom 3. Here is a panorama taken with Dronepan and then stitched in Ptgui.
