The cathedral was founded as an abbey in 1140 and became a cathedral in 1542 after the abbey was closed. At that time the nave was incomplete and demolished. In the 19th century a Gothic Revival building went up and is what we see today. The oldest part is the chapter house from the 12th century. Uncommonly it's a hall church, meaning that the side aisles are the same height as the main aisle - only flying arches were inserted to give the impression of it being a basilica (where the side aisles are lower than the main one).
Before going there I flew at the Temple Church which was started as a round church but later added on and made rectangular. In World War II it was bombed and later strengthened to keep standing. After visiting the cathedral I went back to go inside the temple church but it was still closed during official opening times - hm.

I used to go to Bristol regularly when I was working, but never had the time to explore the city.

Breathtaking vistas on the interior of the Cathedral.  The stained glass and ornate sculpture were spectacular.  While viewing the interior footage it was if a quiet majesty filled the space and the soft glow of the stained glass was  creating a sense of spiritual reverence.  Superb job on this video Depp.

Jan 12 would be nice. Hopefully I can upgrade at least one of my birds easily.
The light version should make for a few really nice sub 250 drones.

I decided I wanted one with more storage,   sadly Apple dont stock the 2TB version here so it has to be ordered for delivery and that can take 2-3 weeks.

I got the MBP M1 Max with 2 TB and should've gone with the M1 Pro with 4 TB. So now I'm always juggling files and have a hard time having the whole year in drone/fpv on the SSD. Couldn't bring myself to upgrade to the M4 yet, though.

I finally upgraded my Intel MacBook Pro with Touch Bar,    it's still going pretty strong but Monty persuaded me to do it.

Which battery are you using,  and whats the flight time really like: I use Flywoo 750mAh/4S. Flight time is between 3 and 5 minutes (that's normal for "classic" fpv drones). I haven't really pushed them to the limit: 1. it's bad for the battery. 2. Power drops significantly: you def. don't fly them down to 10 % or so as a Mini.
Are you beta flight or inav?  Betaflight. Never messed with iNav. Betaflight's GPS is good enough by now and saved me a few times.
Have you got potion hold configured? No. I don't think BF has it and I don't expect iNav to be any good in it as there are no vision sensors.

Non-DJI fpv drones are a pretty different beast and you really need to want it. Then it's awesome and you probably don't want to go back though they do have their ups (position hold/other modes; long flight time; good return to home).

I only get 5 mins out of the Avata battery but looking at reviews there are people claiming 18 to 30 minted flight time with some of bigger batteries,    and they also recommended a different type of cell that will go down to 0% without damaging the battery.


All in all though the reviews of it are good and the price is very nice.

You can use other batteries, a LiIon 3000 mAh that weighs 203,5 instead of the 67,3 g the 750mAh LiPo weighs. I wanted to tell you how much higher the throttle is when using the heavier battery but I couldn't find the adapter - I never use the 3000...
For my 7" drone I have a 8000 mAh battery that should give me 25+ minutes...
If the Explorer doesn't ship with BF 4.6 then please to not update yourself: Under Betaflight all settings will be lost and oftentimes the versions are not compatible with their own former settings - an absolute nuisance that I hope they will someday fix...

Weights not really an issue here.    because its FPV we still have to be 150m away from anything or 30m non residential under article 16.
