I am too,   and theres too much speculation that the flip is the new 5,     I really really hope not.

JasperEllens and OsitaLV are both really reliable leakers and both still think the Mini 5 pro will happen and come out around May/June timeframe.

Guess it is a matter of opinion.  Personally, I don't like the design and foresee some issues cropping up on the folding joints.

I thought that originally too,   but how's it any different to the current arms that fold?

I can't tell for sure yet but seeing the released photos and figuring how many folds you have to make to get it back into that compact storage form I just feel there will be issues with the hinges.  Kind of like how many OP3 got returned due to the faulty rotating hinge.  I could be totally wrong.  In any case i just think it is an ugly, ugly design.

I'm going to just keep on hoping DJI comes through with a Mini 5 Pro that has almost all the functions of the Air3S but in a smaller size.

If they do that it should sell very very well,   infact look how many people upgraded from the Mini 3 to Mini 4 when there was very little at launch in it.

I think the Mini series is probably DJI's highest selling drones.  Probably not the most profitable but based on volume sales the Minis have to really help in sales revenue.

From what I'm told it is the same frame and internals, only difference is the batteries are much lighter so they get a lot less flight time but weigh less.

They used the same design on the Avata but put some foam behind the tabs and that seems to have made it more robust.
