On several occasions, the drone did not follow the sloping slope, but flew more or less horizontally. Due to the change in perspective, it was soon no longer able to follow me, even at slow speed. On flat terrain, she was able to follow me under the same environmental conditions.

It was "follow" mode.

I had the same issue on the ski slope, as you did, even at lower altitude, around 1300 meters.

New user and I’m logged in. Not sure why it says I cannot do a new post in this neo forum. It will only let me post here to a reply.  I’ve had my Neo 7 days. Both occasions now a button press on the drone to do rocket mode set to 10m. It will not come down and land in my hand. Only way I got it to lower this last time was launch the app on my phone. Go to manual controls and hit the land function. Again it lowered to about 15 feet then just hovered no matter what I did. Seems to work fine landing in my hand in all other settings. I know how to work it, doing it correctly.  Is there a bug in that mode at 10m?

I have the opinion, the drone is locked (more or less) to GNSS altitude, or at least tries to keep it.
As there is no sensor measuring the fly hight related to ground, it has to mix the camera view with GNSS Alt.

If we "drop" too fast related to the drones expectation, caused of the ski slope, it looses us out of the picture, especially if there is other (disturbing) surrounding like people etc.
