Is use a Mic2 with my Osmo Pocket 3 and I have an additional Mic2 Bundle (2x transmitter, 1x receiver). In conjunction with my Osmo Pocket 3 audio volume and quality of the DJI Mic2 is fine. Only the noise is to high for my liking.

Today I tried to use the Mic2 with my MacBook Pro M2. First I bound it directly via Bluetooth. That worked but the volume was way to low. I nearly have to eat my Mic2 in order to get an acceptable volume.

Then I used the DJI Mic2 receiver via USB with the same result. On the receiver I have set the transmitter gain to +12 dB, receiver gain is 0 dB. With this I get a good level displayed at the DJI Mic2 receiver but the volume of the signal that my MacBook Pro M2 receives is very low and noisy. I raised the receiver gain from 0 to 12 dB with absolutely no difference in the signal my MacBook Pro M2 receives. So the DJI Mic2 receiver gain seemes not to be existant ;-)?

My result: Mic2 with direct binding via Bluetooth or with the Mic2 receiver over USB does not work on a MacBook Pro M2 at all. That is an unacceptable situation for such a high quality and high price product from DJI!

Mentioned in passing: I have an AnkerWork M650 what is a copy of the DJI Mic(2) I would say. That works very fine with my MacBook Pro M2!

I have installed current version on DJI Mic2 transmitter and receiver: v04.05.01.11

If DJI has a need of beta tester for DJI Mic2 on a MacBook Pro M2 I will be ready ;-)

I ordered a DJI Mic MINI Bundle with receiver in order to test against DJI Mic2 with my MacBook. When I connect one of the MINIs via bluetooth it's the exakt same bad situation as with the MIC2. The volume is much to low. When I use the MINI receiver through USB-C it is better because the gain controller on the receiver does work on the Mac. So when I set it to +12 dB I get a much louder volume recorded. In FinalCut for example I now can do recordings and only have to do little modification (loudness filter and/or only 3 dB gain) in order to have reasonable sound.

So what I can say is, that the gain of the Mic2 receiver does not work but the gain of the MINI receiver does work in conjunction with a MacBook Pro and MacOS Sequoia 15.2 (DJI Mic MINI firmware 01.01.00.39, DJI Mic2 firmware v04.05.01.11). So I think it should be possible for DJI programmers to fix this problem for Mac easily for the Mic2 (receiver).
