There is an older thread about the tactile feel and click sound of the power button. Apparently some of us feel and hear it. Others claim not to. Could be us the users or maybe different production runs and power button differences. Noticed, but not absolutely sure that my Neo's button seems to have less of a click and feel. Hopefully not wearing out. Have had a click switch on a non-DJI TX wear out. Unlike DJI products. Part available and easy diy replacement. Sort of wish DJI would have incorporated the power button onto the battery like the Avata2 battery. IIRC there are 11 screws that need to be removed. Then you would need to remove the chassis holding flight board, GPS.... to get access to the switch. Unsure if you can even replace the switch. We all might end up one day with a paper weight.
Thought just hit the old brain. Don't remember any quad ever owned or built that had a power switch like what the DJI Avata2 or Neo has. Just plug in the battery and start up cycle begins. Unsure why DJI goes this route. |
