It was a bit cold, but they put up the fences around another demo location (not fully fenced off as I noticed from the sky).

So soon it will be gone too.

Yeah it is.
But this is how it grew over time.
It started as a butcher and I believe there used to be a blacksmith too before.

Judging by the old maps, it dates back to around 1900.
They made upgrades and changes throughout the history.
This was around 1900. The same building, but completely different look.

Property prices yes are silly here too like that,   theres a house down the road from me that sold last year for 1.2 million,   its now back up for 2.8mil.

Yeah, and with the interest going down, prices will rise even more.
Which is bad for the next generation.
Impossible to get a house these days unless you are diving deep in the mortgage.
