Another really nice find DA.    That's an excellent adapter with so many uses.  I saw it listed on Aliexpress for only $24.22.

The cheapest I found was £28 so youve got a good deal there.

Shipping/transit time shows as 14 days.  However, that is only to the first US port where it will then go into Customs for however long they desire.  

I guess you saw the newest initiative to ban DJI drones by the US Commerce Department.  At least they are soliciting input from drone users before they take action.  Honestly, I think it is only a matter of time before DJI gets banned just like Huawei did.

Here if they give an estimate and if it's late you get a voucher off the next purchase,  they are usually pretty. good with the estimate.

Am I missing something?   Either the NSA/CSS have credible data there is a threat from these products or they dont,   asking the public what they "think" has nothing to do with it.

It's the same thing over and over as nobody has shown credible proof.  They are hanging their hat on this statement "Securing the unmanned aircraft systems technology supply chain is critical to safeguarding our national security".  

Personally I feel the risks from Chinese drones such as from DJI or Autel are modest compared to other risks from Chinese technology such as 5G technology or chips.
