You're absolutely right about that.  Seems Biden is still trying to tie Trump's hands right up until he walks out of the White House.  Geez, I wonder what he plans on screwing up next.

The Party War keeps getting more and more intense. I have never seen such battles for political territory. The voters have seen it and they still don't change their ways. Well, Trump knows how to handle the competition. It should be interesting.

No doubt there will be many hours and days spent in disagreements in both the House and Senate.  I hope the in-fighting within the Republican party ceases and the Freedom Caucus gets onboard with the majority of the party.

Do you see whhat they are trying to do with Jan. ^th. They want to memorialize it forever. They are luvcky that thry got away with stealing an election unscathed. They should thank their makers. Thats my take on it. I was kid of glad that it scared them a little. It's our Capitol. I think storming it was an effective means of letting the Poiticians know that we were upset and they should take heed. For an Angry mob it was fairly peaceful.

I saw a news article on that yesterday.  i like this line out of the article.  

"Congress is grappling with the thorny question of how, IF AT ALL, to officially mark an assault whose victims cannot agree on the basic facts of what happened."

Sorry I was responding from my cell phone. I kind of like the idea that democrats got flustered on January 6th. It's the first time they worried about paying the price for corruption in a long while.

What a gross ABUSE of the President's powers, in particular the pardon of Hunter Biden.  

Here is an interesting statistic:
President Biden has pardoned 8,064 people (and still going strong)
President Obama pardoned 1,927
President Carter pardoned 200,566
President Trump pardoned 237
President George W. Bush pardoned 200

Seems a particular political party is overusing the pardon power.  

Is there a limit on the power to pardon?  Yes, U.S. Constitution, article II, § 2, cl. 1; see Garland, 71 U.S. at 373 (acknowleding that the President's authority to grant pardons is subject to the exception of cases of impeachment and that with that exception the power is UNLIMITED).

I remember that now. I have mixed feelings about it. So many people went and died. It doesn't seem right, but I get both sides. I think it sent the wrong message.
