Hello,

Today, something that have never been before, the videos captured by my DJI mini 4 pro are wavy and vibrant. Notice the mess mainly in the middle of the picture. Previous videos on same environment was stable. Cant remember the drone got any damage or something. Video attached demonstrates it. What are you suggestions please?

Thank you very much in advance!

looks like some form of image stabilization may not be working? recalibrate the gimble?
maybe it's a thing when shooting portrait?

is your SD card fast enough? try recording to internal stortage and see if it still happens.

were you in sport mode? or played with any expo settings?

This video format has the huge advantage of displaying a crappy video on the big screen with 2 nice black tiles on each side of the image!!

Hi Matan, thank you for bringing this to our attention and we are sorry for the inconvenience. If you're experiencing wavy and vibrant videos with your DJI Mini 4 Pro, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow:

1. Check for any foreign matter or dust on the gimbal. If you find any, please remove them carefully to ensure smooth operation.
2. Check the gimbal and propellers for any obvious damage or misshaping. Any physical damage can affect video stability and quality.
3. Calibrate the gimbal using the DJI app. This can help resolve any alignment issues that might be causing the video distortion.
4. Consider whether the issue only appears in windy or severe cold environments, as these conditions can sometimes affect video quality.

If the problem persists, kindly reach us back for further assistance. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Hey thanks for the response. I did recalibration for everything in the drone and RC. Your are absolutely right, when I film in horizontal mode there is no issue. Just when shooting portrait it is wobbly!

Hello thank you very much for the response. All you four comments checked by me boss. I have noticed (thanks to the first responder on this thread) that the wobbly filming happens just on portrait mode and not in horizontal mode.

Yeah, most of the time this is how imbalanced props look

What you showed in the video. 99% it is caused by props that are not in balance.
Usually one or more are (slightly) bent, so they cause tiny vibrations.

Oh ok, thank you.
I will replace all of them even if they looking good. It is just strange just the issue pops just in portrait mode.

Yeah, it can be random how it resonates.
But anyway, it would be my first guess to check that.
