Absolutely spectacular footage throughout this 2024 highlight reel.  I've watched it twice through trying to figure out how to describe how it visually effects me.  I just can't narrow it down anymore than these words I jotted down by watching.  It's breathtaking, spectacular, stunning, marvelous, phenomenal, remarkable, jaw-dropping, incredible, extraordinary, astonishing, awe-inspiring, majestic, sublime, exquisite, fantastic, and awesome.  You knocked it out of the ball park on this video Patrick.        

Thanks a million for sharing your travel locations.

The castle at 1:33 is castle Baldenau in Germany not far from the town Morbach.
3:38 is a waterfall in France in the beautiful region of the Vercors

Even though I'm not as old as the guy on the shirt I still really like the shirt.  He is the only one of my grandsons that loves to ride on the motorcycle as the others would much rather spend time on video games.

The oddest thing I ever saw was two girls walking through a shopping mall side by side and texting each other instead of hold a conversation.  Teachers say that kids no longer know how to spell properly because they are all adapting to text abbreviations, etc.  I couldn't believe it when one of my grandsons told me they don't even teach cursive writing anymore.  Yep, I'm definitely old.

I'm a forklift instructor (also cranes, arial platforms, excavators, and so on) and therefore also a lot in contact with young adults and damn what you write is so true, we notice the same in our theoretical parts when they have to write. They just can do it anymore correctly.

Schools have certainly changed.  I asked my grandson how he could sign his name if cursive isn't taught and he said "Grandad, no need to sign as everything is electronic and we can just wave our phone over it vice signing."  I wrote him a $50 check and said okay, go cash it.  Initially, he couldn't get it cashed.    Interestingly enough he wanted the $50 so he taught himself cursive from an online website and then got it cashed.  So kids these days do have some initiative just not a lot of old school basic skills.
