Every time I fly my DJI Mini, “payload mode” automatically turns on and limits my speed and distance I can fly, even when it’s not windy outside at all. I have propeller guards, so maybe it’s something to do with the extra weight from the guards triggering it or smth but I don’t know how to disable payload mode and why it even comes on in the first place! Please send any feedback that can help me with this issue so I can get back to flying my drone freely again.

Could you please tell us if you are using the Mavic Mini?
If so, kindly remind you that after the 360° propeller guard is mounted, it will start detecting within 6 seconds after hovering and a “payload mode enabled” warning will be shown on the app. You can go to the DJI Fly app, tap the settings icon on the upper right corner, and switch the “Payload Mode”.
