Hi all, hoping for some explanation and, fingers crossed, fixes for a weird issue I've had with a whole cycling trip's worth of footage from the DJI Action Cam 3. I went on a trip this summer and used the action cam 3 to document it, however looking at the footage I discovered the audio starts out fine and then starts to skip, then skips quicker before entirely cutting out. This is on all clips. I'm not sure what the problem could be and fear the audio from the footage is all useless.

Any advice is very much welcome,

Thanks!

Hi there, thank you for bringing this to our attention and we are sorry for the inconvenience. During the video recording of action cameras, the clock frequency will jitter slightly, resulting in incomplete alignment of audio and video data. Osmo Action 3 guarantees the synchronization of audio and video content to the greatest extent by adopting a strategy of aligning the audio with the video, that is, controlling the length difference between audio and video data within 100 ms. The length difference between audio and video data in your video is within the acceptable range of the camera. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Hi and thank you for your reply. Unfortunately that is absolutely not the case as the audio in my videos first starts to skip so that the audio and video is entirely out of sync and then the audio has seemingly stopped being recorded. Please look at an example of this and you'll see that the problem you described is not the problem I'm experiencing. All the videos with this issue play exactly the same on all editing softwares and playback softwares.
Thanks,
