I'm looking to buy a dedicated phone to fly my neo,

I don't want to spend too much $$$, so I'm looking at some android phones (which I know diddly-squat about).

Do you guys know if "Xiaomi Smartphone M5s" one would run the fly app just fine? These are the specs from Amazon:

Xiaomi Smartphone M5s 6.43"
256GB/8GB
Camera 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP/13MP
Mediatek Android 12

Hi there, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Generally, devices not listed as supported mobile devices can also be used if their system versions are the same or later than those published on the DJI official website (Beta system versions may not be compatible), but their stabilization has not yet been verified. It is recommended that you download and install the app to test the basic functions, or go to a nearby outlet (if any) for product testing. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Ohh yeah, I do have the rcn2 that came with the neo... I was just looking for suggestions for a dedicated phone to put on top of it.

I ended up buying a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13... and it works just fine.

I just bought a cheap Android Tablet off amazon for $150 and now I find out DJI fly doesnt work on Android 14... how nice.  I'm not blaming DJI.  I work for a Global Corporation who has an app as well. I understand the crazy stuff trying to keep the app working on both iOS and Android.  I'm glad I own RC and Goggles.  I'll look for this special "patch" for the bug now I guess.
