So I just got the Action 2 camera today. I know it's a few generations behind, but I love the size, and the shape.
Iplan on mounting it to my air3 and my avata2
The lense is right in the center - other action cams are off centered and bigger.

Anyways - brand new - had it in the charger for a half hour or so, and now it gets hot to the touch, just sitting there. Not recording, nothing.
Also - the bottom ,display block -will NOT charge past 70%
Been on the charger 45 mins - hasn6budges past 70

Is this a common thing? They get really hot?.charging issues?

The charging temperature of the camera unit is about 40°C when the device is powered off, and the front screen expansion module/endurance module is about 44° when charging. The temperature will change due to the charging time, and the charging will be as high as 50° or more after turning off. It is recommended to charge after turning off .
Regarding the charge time, it takes approximately 90 minutes to fully charge both the camera unit and the front touchscreen module or the power module when they are connected.

So I had it on the charger - ALL NIGHT. Lights still flashing this morning indicating charging.
Checked - 68% on bottom cube. It will not charge.
And now the bottom cube power is dropping at an crazy rate these pics are taken 2 mins apart

And when I say it gets HOT
I mean sitting, idle - not on a charger, not video recording - it's brand new and I obviously got a defective unit

If the charging is still slow after the firmware update, please provide the following information and we will check it further for you:
1. Product serial number;
2. DJI Action 2 firmware version;
3. Display of the charging process.
