Cam: Osmo Action 4

Question:

Can both audio streams be recorded - the one mono stream from the Mic Mini   and   the stereo stream from the cam
onto the video?



Expected:

Video that has one mono stream from the Mic Mini
an one stereo stream from the cam included.
So a video with 2 audio tracks if you like.

No. On the Pocket 3 there is a feature and menu item called  "Built-in Mic Audio Backup" which records a separate internal WAV file from the built-in mics plus a stream from any connected external mics into the video. You can then mix these in post. The Action 4 does not have this facility. You can do it on the Action 5 Pro, however.

I don't have an Action 5 Pro. But DJI could easily implement this feature into the firmware of the Action 4 I think.

It would be a nice feature to record ambient stereo sound from the internal mic's and voice from the Mic Mini.
