Help!
i tired to fly the Phantom 3 Professional this afternoon and i got a video warning telling me i need a firmware update.
also there was no video feed on the iphone 6s (running the latest DJI Go App)

updated the firmware from 1.3.002.0
After firmware update i received a long beep along with a red light above the camera.

here are my txt log and info on my app. (the firmware status warning is gone)
im still not getting any video feed

thought i can copy the bin file on a 2gb slow sd Card and put it ito the cameraslot to update the bird
update failed
ok copying it on a the fast 32gb Card came whith the p3 and doing the update again solves the Problem
maybe this helps

I had this same problem this morning with a brand new out of the box copter...

The report showed that it failed, however it did actually update successfully.....
it didn't show that on the main screen, however after I went into "about" to show the versions, then it realized that it did update and I"m now ready to fly....

As you may have read, it took me weeks to solve this issue with my P3P but I had a lot of different variables because I was also running developers versions of the firmware. There are a many different roads to go down but I think there is one you should try first.

You have one obstacle that doesn't make sense to me. Your "about" section versions are correct but your log file shows no 1.4.1 "success". That concerns me a bit but there is a more detailed hidden log file on the SD card under the MISC folder. You may want to look at that on before you proceed.

You also didn't indicate what device you are using for your FPV. What device are you using? Let's start with those two things. Isolating this issue can be a real bear and can get very confusing. At least it was for me. I will say, I've flown a dozen batteries since correcting my problem and got out 2.2 miles on a 5.7 miles trip with perfect video the whole way just yesterday.

Another obstacle that occurs naturally on these forums because a lot of people just want to help is that you'll begin to get many different things to try from many different people. It can get quite confusing. I'm more than willing to attempt to help you but if we can't follow a sequence of events, we'll both just be wasting a bunch of time. If you provide the more detailed log file and the device you're using, I'll try to help.

Im using iPhone 6s with IOS 9.0.2 with DJI Go App 2.3.0
I also tried with iPhone 5s with IOS 8.4.1 with DJI Go App2.1.0 (used to use this device to fly prior to iphone 6s)

Both devices are now not showing Video Signal.

You are getting a "device not detected" message. One that I'm not familiar with. I'm also not as deep into the IOS stuff. You may want to reach out to Sploodge. He seems to have a very good grasp on the logs you submitted. Just start a new thread asking for his help, I think he will respond.

I won't leave you hanging. If he doesn't respond, I'll walk you through everything I can. Before you do anything, verify that your connection cable is good. Use a real iPhone cable and see if you get video. I have seen many cases where an aftermarket cable was the culprit.

Any way it shakes, I'll check in to see how things are going. If Sploodge doesn't jump in, give me a holler back on this thread and we'll figure it out. I'll be close by all night.

Do you have access to an Android device? Or, is your iPhone 6 new enough that you can reset it? Is it a device that has critical info on it. I'd like to rule out the device first.

That being said, Here is something worth a shot. Pull your SD card from the camera and put it in your computer. Delete all of the files and folder on it. Go to the DJI support site and download a new copy of the 1.4.1 file. Unzip it and put just the P3X_FW_V01.04.0010.bin file on the SD. (I know you've already done this but humor me). Put it in your bird and power on the bird. What happens?

We've got to go back here to get straight on where we are and what we need to do. Was it successful? If not, post the hidden log file again. (If it was successful, let me know, so I'm not looking for your post.)

Hi Jerry. i do not have an android device. ive used both iphone 6s and the iphone 5s and no signal on either.
re-downladed a new .zip file and did a proper firmware update via SD card. after a few beep it gave me a long beep with flashing red.


(not sure why theres a loud audio pop but its the standard dji beep)

Okay, Sploodge would be much better than me on a "device not detected" message but let's give her a go.

Do you know where the reset button is? On the bottom right, just behind the gimbal platform is a light and a reset button. Clear the SD card again, we don't want anything on it but the P3X_FW_V01.04.0010.bin file. Put the card in the bird. Hold the reset button in while you power up the bird. As soon as you hear the card read (the zup...zup) release the reset button and let it complete the update. If you can, record the update process so I can see it, if you can't don't sweat it. Make sure your RC is off during the update process.

You may want to try doing the same process with a clean version of 1.3.2 first. After it completes, let the bird cool down. Maybe even do the IMU, gimbal and compass calibration and give it a quick test flight. Make sure everything is solid on 1.3.2 before trying to move to 1.4.1. You're getting device failures, something I'm not well versed on. I wish Sploodge could take a look. I reset my bird a dozen times before I got things square so I don't think it's something to fear but you never know these days. Move forward at your own risk. I'm simply trying to help.
