Well yeah, It's some kind of cross posting (the video is also in Works) but i tought that it could be of interest for the Action 5 community. Here i used also the DJI Mic Mini for the first time and i must say that it's pretty satisfying especially for the noticeable battery performance!

DLog 10 bit. Honestly i dismissed Normal because it's unpredictable. Don't know the behavior of latest gray firmware, but i'd wait for something official.

On a sunny day, D-Log M looks good. Yesterday I shot in the forest in D-Log M, cloudy weather, walking. 50 fps 1/320 ISO100-800. ISO showed about 700. Brightness jumps were minor and not so frequent. I think this is because ISO was striving for the maximum value.

Yes, i think that the brightness jumps are tied to several factors, as you said, the ISO switch may be one of those factors. I'm still convinced that the new hardware of Action 5 made the develpers hand tied on some technical aspects. I have no other explanation to myself why the Action 5 shows those brightness issues when Action 4 doesn't (or does less).
