If I get just the transmitter without the receiver, will it pair with iPhone and record in video.  I tried but couldn’t get it to record in video recording.   Thoughts?

Thank you for reaching out. Please be informed that, if the DJI Mic 2 transmitter is connected to an iPhone via Bluetooth mode, please note that the phone's system camera and system voice recorder are not supported. Having said that, the transmitter can be used with the iPhone's Voice Memos app, but there is a delay where the first 3 seconds of audio are not captured. Audio recording begins from the 4th second onward.

Given these limitations, if you need to record audio directly into video on your iPhone, it is recommended to use the DJI Mic 2 receiver. Hope this clarifies.  If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We are always happy to help you!

I just purchased the mini mic system.   I understand that I can Bluetooth connect the transmitter to the iPhone and it will work through the Mimo app.   I’ll be using it mostly with the osmo gimble 6.   Will connect through receiver for all native phone recording.  Ty for the response.
