Nice find DA.  I think that is the longest video I've seen on YT.  Movies are even shorter.

I didn't catch it as I had to go to court and testify against the two trespassers.  Since they got charged with a felony and were convicted they got 7 years in prison and will not get their rifles back.  They were also ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution for criminal damages.  Unfortunately for them new evidence has been discovered and they are prime suspects in a Breaking & Entering case and fencing stolen property.  So they may even end up spending more time behind bars.

Now remind me,  is prison worse than jail,    as you guys have both but for us the same word is used to describe the same thing.

The main difference between jail and prison is the length of time a person is held there.  Jails are short-term facilities, while prisons are longer-term facilities.  Jail is a short-term facility for people awaiting trial, sentencing, or serving a sentence of less than one year.  Jails are operated by the local law enforcement agency.  Prisons are run by the state or federal government

Ah.  So we only have Prisons here,  and depending on the risk of the person attending will go to a different category,  but assuming they were remanded awaiting trial that would still be the same facility.

Less infrastructure would be an advantage for sure.  Less maintenance, utilities and employees needed.  Seems here it is more of a jurisdictional thing.

We run out of places a few months ago so the government just let a load only to find most shouldn't have been out

Yikes, that is a monumental mistake.  No doubt somebody is in deep trouble.

Here I thought we had the market cornered on crazy things the government does.    Due to overcrowding some states did early releases for non-violent offenders but found out that over 30% quickly re-offended and were right back in lock-up.

We are not quite on par yet,   I mean we don't have people demand fights etc here yet.
