Is anyone using s24 for DJI fly with mini 4 pro please? I don't want to have to buy the S24 ultra (which is on the DJI compatibility list) as it's too big, too costly and also becoming obsolete. (And I need displayport support which Samsung has and good camera too). Also I want the direct wireless transfer between phone and drone as I don't like taking the chip out when on location. Thank you very much!

I don't have the S24 but it works great on the S24 Ultra.   You can go ahead and download and install the Fly App and if it loads then the chances are it will work on the S24.  Hopefully, somebody with that phone will come along soon and confirm or deny if it works.

UPDATE:  My grandson has the S23 (non-ultra)  and the Fly app works on it and he has the Mini 4 Pro.  So I'm guessing it will wok on the S24 also.  Again, download and see if it loads properly.

I'll see if I can't get a shop to test download before committing to a purchase (I had to buy an unnecessary Google pixel when DJI fly became incompatible with my then Lenovo/Motorola and mini2  -  I have been bitten before) . Shop will need to get over downloading from a non verified source. If not it maybe then I'll also consider the s23 ultra whose price is lower and more stable than 24 ultra price. Then I get the 10x optical zoom - though I read that the s24 at 10x (processed digital) is slightly better? Anyway thanks again for your help. Ron

Oh, I thought you already had the S24.  Hopefully, for the sake of a sale, the shop will let you do a test download and install.  If they balk at downloading from DJI's website then a safe alternative is from the APK mirror here.
