It is $650. That is for the handheld unit with X3 camera.

Will the Osmo be sold without the camera/gimbal? For those of us Inspire 1 owners who already have the camera/gimbal?

Conformation that the Osmo camera is not currently compatible with the inspire. Inspire x3 IS compatible with the Osmo hand held.

Thanks Dave.  Does this mean the X5 version of the Osmo will not be compatible with the I1 either?

Very important we have a clear understanding to make plans.

My initial plan was to get the X5 and Osmo handle so I could use it on both, but if it doesn't work then I'm praying you will release the Osmo without a camera so we don't double up on hardware.

It seems Jim that when they offer the combo they have a lockable gimbal. The X3 on the Osmo is not compatible with the Inspire so the same might be true of an X5 combo.

Exactly right.  What I'm thinking is to get the X5 for the Inspire and the handle on its own, then have the best of all worlds.   Will be giving up a couple of features on the handle by not having the dedicated X5 but better to be able to put it on the Inspire as well.

Yes unfortunately it does. The mechanical structure of the Osmo‘s camera is handled for hand held use. The 3-axis gimbal can be flattened and locked, and the orientation of the tilt motor has been changed on all versions.

My audio is dropping out from my OSMO internal mic.  I played back 2 of my clips, and the audio becomes scratchy, then disapears, then reappears.
Is there an issue with this that I should know about?
