Hi,

I've upgraded from a GoPro to a DJI Action 5 PRO and want to use it to record video while riding my motorcycle. I purposely don't use ND filters because the camera serves me as a dashcam at the same time and I can't blur the motion so that the plates are visible.

I would like to ask you to implement Motion Blur software effect in Action 5 PRO or MIMO App as it is in Insta Ace Pro 2 or CapCut software. You can see the effect in the attached video. It would be nice if this effect could be obtained without using third party apps.

Thank you! Looking forward to your reply.

Hi, I live in Korea and there are extremely draconian laws regarding public video recordings and photography.

I thought Mimo or Lightcut would have a blur sticker and tracking but they do not. This would make the DJI a highly unsuitable product for use in Korea and I would be forced to use Insta360 Acepro2 with their license plate blur function.

I think you don't understand my post. See what I mean about motion blur by downloading the video I attached.

Watching a John Wayne movie from the 60’s yesterday, I kept freezing the picture in order to see just how much motion blur was used. It’s an enormous amount. In action scenes for instance, nothing is in focus on stills.

It made me think about shutter speed because it looks to me as though a larger than 180 degree shutter was used in a medium that needed a space to physically move the film. By comparison, we are using massively shorter shutter speeds.

I looked up what kinds of shutter speeds would typically have been used and couldn’t find it anywhere. Does anyone know? It seems way more smudgy when looking at stills than even a 180 degree shutter produces.
