Hi,

I’m in the UK at the moment, but will be travelling Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.

Can anyone help me out and advise me on getting/needing C1 stickers?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out with your question. To operate the DJI Mini 4 Pro in the EU, a C1 sticker is necessary to obtain a C1 certificate. You will need to replace the sticker and update the compliance certification level accordingly. Please follow the instructions below to affix the sticker and apply for the necessary certification level change. If you do not plan to use the drone within the EU, the sticker is not required.

To apply for a C1 sticker, please follow these steps:

Step 1 - Vital Update:
Ensure your DJI Fly App is updated to version V1.12.8 or above. You can download the latest version of the DJI Fly app here. https://www.dji.com/uk/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly?backup_page=index

Step 2 - Request Initiation:
Connect your remote controller to the aircraft. Then, tap on "Service > Cx Label Request."

Step 3 - Swift Submission:
Fill in the short application form and tap "submit." Your Cx label will arrive by letter within 20 working days.
Please note, the labels will be sent without a shipping number. Delivery time depends on local factors.

Step 4 - Quick Proof:
Attach the Cx label to the designated location on the aircraft following the included instructions once you receive the labels. Upload photos of your drone with the label on it to "DJI Fly App > Profile > Service > Cx Label Request."
Please note that the screen-equipped remote control does not support image uploads. Kindly use the DJI Fly app on your mobile device or DJI Service Portal for image uploads instead.

Step 5 - Final Download:
Your final document will appear in the Fly app under "Service > Cx Label Request" or in the DJI Service Portal within 3 working days. Download it and keep it with you when flying.

Step 6 - Verify C1 height limit permissions
While keeping the network connection of the app, find an outdoor environment with good GPS signals, go to Safety > Max Altitude, and tap Request Higher Altitude Limit to verify the C1 certification status. After completion, the maximum flight altitude will be updated to 500m.

We hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions about the process of applying for the C1, please don't hesitate to contact the DJI Support team.

Thank you for all of this useful information.

I had another question however: I did get some stickers when I received my mini 4 pro that replace the ‘0’ sticker, as well as the sticker that is inside the battery slot on the drone. Are these C1 labels?

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply. The C1 label stickers can be referenced in the image below.

Thanks so much! So I already have these. They were sent out to me without me having to request them. I have since requested the C1 labels via service on DJI fly app. Do I need to cancel this request? Furthermore, how do I go about confirming change of labels now that I have them?

Hope that all makes sense!

Hello. If you want to cancel your application, you can send us the application number and we will cancel it for you.
1. Once you receive the label, follow the instructions in your package to apply it to your aircraft.
2. Then upload a photo of your aircraft with the label through the app or website link.
3. Your final document will appear in the Fly app-service-Cx label Request or login DJI Service Portal within 3 working days. Download it. Keep it with you when flying. That's it!
