Overexposure Issue With FPV

My Phantom 3 Pro has an issue with messing up the over and under exposed areas of the FPV feed.
YES, the Over Exposure Warning is turned OFF. Toggling it on and off has no effect.
Very briefly after the last firmware update, toggling this did actually show me Zebra Stripes but then within 30 seconds it went back to the nastiness you see in my photos.

the photos and video saved to the SD Card do not exhibit this issue and look fine.

I've tried 2 different Lightning cables. 3 Different IOS devices. AND it didn't used to do this for the first few months that I flew it and NO it hasn't crashed.
The first picture shows how it should look and this was taken by pausing the video playback on my device in DJI Go app for the few frames where the issue disappears. It does seem to go away briefly if I change camera settings such as exposure, Auto/Manual, etc. but it's a pain in my ass because it makes it really hard to see what I'm looking at via FPV.
