I have a DJI Mavic 3 Cine w/the RC Pro remote.  I have used the livestream capability in the past without a mic but now it seems like it won't allow me to. I just tried to use it again but it will not activate/start.  Heres what happens: I entered the rtmp address and stream key provided by my YouTube account. Then, on my remote, I select, "Start Livestream" At this point a box pops up on the screen that says: "No built-in mic in current device. Connect to a wired mic before livestream to improve streaming quality  OK"  I select OK and it just reverts to the screen with the RTMP Address and Stream Key fields ans well as Bitrate options and Resolution options then of course the "Start Livestream" option again. NOTES: I just updated all firmware.   Thanks for the response!

When used with an external microphone, audio recording can be conducted when performing the remote controller’s screen recording function and live streaming in the DJI Fly app. I hope this provides the clarity you were looking for. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Thank you, but the problem is that it won't let me livestream with out amic connected and that's what i want to do.  I want to live stream without a mic, no sound, but the remote prompt as i mentioned previously won't initiate the live stream.

I am attaching a photo that shows it is not possible to start a live broadcast without connecting a microphone. Even after connecting the DJI microphone, the live broadcast still does not work.

Just click OK. Then start the stream. The note says nothing about a mic being necessary.

Yeah same here. Wont allow you to stream with out mic. DJI fix that thing, it started after latest firmware.

When will this error be corrected?

Hello Skank. We truly apologize for the inconvenience caused. For DJI Mini 4 Pro. Due to the lack of a built-in microphone in DJI RC 2, when using DJI RC 2 for live streaming, an external microphone is required to pick up the audio. We recommend using DJI Mic for better sound quality.

A. If you needs to connect a headset with a microphone to the bottom USB-C port of the remote controller:

(1) If the headset has a USB-C connector, simply plug it into the bottom USB-C port of the remote controller.

(2) If the headset has a 3.5mm connector, try using a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter to connect it to the remote controller.

I dont want to pick up the  audio, i  just want to stream !
In the  past there was no issue for  streaming  without headset or  microphone.

I updated the firmware and now,  i cant even stream cause of it.

Please fix the issue for streaming.

I dont care about the audio, streaming shouldnt depend on the microphone you know.

DJI Gamora, yes, I'm using the RC Pro remote.  As the others have stated,  since the latest firmware update,  live streaming has not been possible.  So many other users are having the same issue.   What is taking you all so long to correct this issue?
You all are DJI, get a Mavic 3 Cine controlled with a RC Pro remote, update them with your latest firmware and try to initiate a livestream and you'll see you can't.   If for some reason you can,  record it and post for all the other users to see and be able to follow the same steps.

Hello guys, I have this problem too just this morning.

This is easily worked around.  Pair a set of Airpods to the rc pro.

I do not disagree.  There is no way it should require a mic.  
I did not assume you are stoopid.

We dont want to stream with voice, so we dont need a mic at all. We want to stream with NO mic and voice. But it is not possible anymore, see pictures from up. So dont give answer "use external mic or so", give us  answer how we can stream with no MIC and why a new firmware cant do that.

I'm just writing a reply here so that dji don't forget that there is a serious problem. Once again, DJI's support for professional user is insufficient.

Unfortunately after a few seconds, it drops the livestream (it cannot connect to YT).
Great workaround but still seems not to solve the problem. DJI must do something about it.

We use rtmp livestram to critical incicent and life rescue and it is not working anymore since last update because there is no builtin micorophone in RC Pro! What's going on, is it serious? I don't want to stream audio, just video. It was working great before.

I was getting the same message requesting to connect a microphone.  I connected my Airpods through bluetooth and that got rid of that message.  Now I get a "Livestream error. Try again" message 5-10 seconds after starting the livestream.  I've tried multiple RTMP streaming sources such as Vimeo, Facebook and Youtube with no success.  It would appear that livestream is not working at all.  Perhaps the fix will come with an app update, DJI Support?

Still no  firmware update  on  this?
Don't they realize at dji what an impact this is for governments using their tools?

Do we have an update this week? I recently updated the firmware and completely bricked the RTMP steam feature even with a mic connected (Livestream Error popup). Also DJI, this really needs to be fixed. You cannot just introduce a product-breaking bug and not even acknowledge its existence.

Don't bet on it. It's already more than a month  ongoing, they dont care about it.

Have you not solved the problem yet? This is clearly a software issue. Is there a way to roll back updates?
