The instructions state 45 watts but you need one thats at least 4.3 amps.

Yes they sell a suitable charger or two. 65w or 100w.

Yeah, those are quite powerful. I have the 30W, which is more than enough for me.

I had to upgrade mine for the Avata 2 before that I had 30w,.    Now I have a colour coded system of cables so I know which is the biggest charger and the tiers down to the smallest as I have devices that won't charge on any new usbc charger,    The EU has a lot to answer to with its USBC mandate.

It's a complete waste of time,   just because the cable is the same doesn't mean you can charge on it.

The newer charges support PD which allows the device to neogeotiate volts/amps but older devices that don't support that just don't get charged.    Then of course you have the issue where a device might need a certain amount of amps to charge at all and if the charger is too small it just won't charge it,  some things would just charge slower, other things like my intel MacBook just don't charge.

Yes.  You need the right cable for the higher charging speeds.
