Yes, you can buy the current Osmo with the x3 camera and then upgrade to the x5 or x5r at any point later.

You will need an adapter plate for the X5.  It will not work on the OSMO without it.  It will be available at a later date.

I would assume so.  But the X5 OSMO has not been released.  We do not have those details.

I was about to place an order for the handle until I realised there's no option to buy the x5 mounting plate yet.  If I place an order now for the handle, is the mounting plate likely to be available to purchase by the time it ships, or are we talking months away?

I do not know.  It is not available.  I have a X5 camera but will not mount it until the mount is available.

Any news on the X5 adapter plate. Getting great results with the X5 on the Inspire, would like to try it handheld too!

Why does DJI show a Video of people using the OSMO with the X5. Oh wait the same reason DJI told us the Inspire 1 would have Antomus flight.

My wife osmo pocket fell down and the camera head is not rotating properly... can it be replaced or repaired? Or we have to buy a new one?
