I placed it yesterday. DJI even called me as I had 3 failed attempts to charge my card before I switched cards.

The bank was wondering why there was a company in China trying take money from me and blocked the transaction repeatedly!

I can't tell you how frustrated I am. Setting expectations is a huge part of business.... When I placed my order they said it would ship 5-7 days after payment was confirmed.... Then I get this in the email in responce to my query of a ship date...

Well 40 business days is 2 months...  What I think is so wrong is that they are baiting sales... I was quote "one of the first to order" and they are saying 30-40 business days till mine ships. As of now their website still says 10-15 days... So that is pretty messed up.

My OSMO has been scheduled for a Oct 20 shipment. Anyone else have an earlier date?

I sent an email to the on line store and got this reply.

"Thank you for contacting DJI online store.
For your order, the shipping date is 10 to 15 working days after the payment is confirmed.
It is estimated that the order will be shipped out by the end of this month.
The tracking number will be provided to you once shipped out.
Thank you for your waiting."

I ordered within 30 minutes of getting the email about this product and shipping was listed as 5 to 7 days after payment is confirmed.  Used paypal for payment.

I totally feel the same way!!! I ordered the 9th and it said 3 to 5 days now it is saying 10 to  15. The only reason I ordered the Osmo is because it would ship quickly and I would receive it when I needed it . Expectations to me is the most important part of a business. If I promote something on my site for sale I really have it in stock and ready to fullfill orders. If this is true about 30 to 45 days I will be extremely upset. I like you am one of the first to order. We will see how this turns out. Good luck and keep us posted.

I ordered on the 8th as well.  I was hoping it would ship on the 15th.  Now I dont know what to think.  If it doesn't ship in the 5-7 days as advertised that is extremely misleading.

Well here is the latest from DJI, I ordered on the 9th when their site said 3 to 5 days to ship after payment. Well lol hahahahah isn't that a crock. Now they are telling me that at best it would have shipped on the 20th but due to not having this type product in stock they are unsure when it will ship. I am so totally freakin upset. I have expos coming up in the first of november and I only bought this because it would be here in time for the events. It's not the fact shipping gets delayed, the problem is when I ordered it said 3 to 5 after payment clears. If that were the case it would ship on the 14 th of October. They stated in an email just now that the 20th would be a best case scenario if they were in stock but they are not. Now I'm told it will ship when it is available.??????? But they do apologize so I guess that makes it all better right? not!!!!!!!  I am a diehard DJI supporter and long term user and seller of there product line but this type of thing just un glues me. How can this kind of thing not happen? Should we just wait 6 months after initial release so then the numbers and dates may be closer to accurate? Normally I don't get on my soap box but this needs to be fixed. Staying loyal and hopeful that they will ship to all of us who ordered them in a timely manner. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.

Hello drick1804 I ordered mine same day as you and I just got an email saying they would normally go out on the 20th but since they aren't in stock that that date is now a thing of the past. It doesn't even give a date now just says will ship when they become available. ?????

same thing happened  to me my card was referred due to frequent attempts to charge from China. I had to call and get my card company to let 1 go through. Wow

I did not get a second email, I'm just hoping I'd get it by the end of November because I'm going to shoot a gig. Also ordered a few extra batteries this morning, payment confirmed, but didn't get any other email after that.

I spoke to a few people (chat and email) they said that it would be shipped around the 20th - early November.

Too many mixed information at this point, better just wait and see.

All these comments are disappointing. I was looking to place an order this week based on the 10-15 Days delivery to support various projects. However, I suspect the delivery to Europe is even further out than the numbers above. Disappointing that DJI should misinform in such a manner. I may come back once I know deliveries are happening.

The link above from Sploodge is where you can get the battery from as well as other accessories can be found if you go one level up.

Hey Guys

I ran into the whole confirm payment thing and the rep who emailed me said they confirmed the payment and that my Osmo is ready for pick-up with Fedex. I'm hoping that I don't hit anymore snags with the ordering process and I'm hoping everyone else has a smooth process after order confirmation.

I blew my lid with DJI today... They said the order I placed on Oct 8 would be shipping in another 5-7 days.... mind you if you place an order TODAY it says 5-7 days.... They said that not one OSMO has shipped to the USA yet.

I keep writing because I am upset... I don't know where to vent... Every part of this equation is terrible. Considering they are going to sell over a BILLION dollars worth of products this year... I would expect a smidge better logistics.

As far as I can tell from reading this forum is that none of these units have been shipped to regular costumers.
