Hello dronefriends,

The DJI Flip is a much discussed drone on YouTube, positive but also negative, especially when it comes to flying in windy weather. It seems as if this drone with its unique design evokes more negative reactions from many people than is the case with other DJI drones.

  

To test myself, I also made a few flights under quite windy weather conditions (wind force 4 and even 5), quite strong wind for such a small drone. The DJI Flip performed much better than I expected. Although the |Mini 4 Pro that I also have performs slightly better, I am very satisfied with the Flip and the flight performance in the wind. The camera of the Flip is also great, so for me personally this drone is certainly not a flop!

  

In the accompanying video I flew in wind force 4 in normal mode and in gusts of wind force 5 in sport mode. Please note that in this last position the obstacle detection will not work!
