I live in Fiji Islands in the South Pacific and I have a mini 4K drone and recently noticed the drone automatically/forcefully lands upon detecting nearby flying aircraft. While I understand this is one of the safety features and I appreciate it. My concern is if the forceful landing will cause the drone to land away from me at an unsafe place. Is there a possibility to override the automatic/forceful landing feature and to manually land the drone safely in proximity?

Would you mind posting which version of DJI Fly app and firmware version of your drone you are using?  That might help for troubleshooting purposes.

Aer you sure it was a plan and not flying into restricted airspace that caused this,  the Mini's don't have ADSB.  

I do live close to an airport and fall in the blue zone area. I do fly at my residence with a very limited altitude of 10 - 15 meters. However, this was my second time when I noticed the drone automatically lands at its current position when it detects an aircraft flying by or high above.

You should upload a log file - http://phantomhelp.com/logviewer/  and then post a link,  it should show why it landed.   The Mini 4k doesn't have air sense so it can't be detecting the planes.
