Is there a way to give the DJI mini 3 active track because I find it odd that the DJI neo has no obstacle avoidance and yet it has active track.     PS DJI.give the DJI mini 3 active track please.

the Neo is able to perform active track / follow because it is meant to be a selfie drone, smaller, slower, has a propeller guard, and won't be too impactful when hit, the camera able to calculate with that size to semi-obstacle avoidance

unlike Neo, Mini 3 has an open propeller, it can't really know how to calculate the size of the drone to perform obstacle avoidance, and likely will hit nor crash something or even someone

that is why the safest to use the active track with a mini-sized drone is only Mini 4 Pro or less Mini 3 Pro, the Flip is also able to perform active track, but it won't avoid obstacles, tho the sensor helps to brake in case near obstacles

A couple of notes:1 neo uses its camera and downwered sensers to follow your path.
2: The mini 3 pro has only forward,backward and downwered facing sensers which means if it is moving sideways it will crash into obstacles.

the downward sensor doesnt do anything other than position lock ToF

indeed mini 3 pro doesnt recognize the side of the drone, but it is safer less than mini 4 pro
and it wouldn't follow from side way, unlike mini 4 pro that has a feature to change the direction of follow active track

Have you seen the DJI neo fly fpv and the DJI avata 2 if you notice they both have that little downward warning.Do you no how many trees My neo has hit.I spent two hours trying to get it.so its camera is not a obstacle senser.its camera only records.

if you check my post, you probably will figure it out I fly fpv the neo in a forest-like environment

You do have a good point but I find it odd that the mini 3 is about as useful as the mini 2.

I didnt say the camera is sensor for obstacle avoidance,

what I meant is the camera acts as a  semi-obstacle avoidance

I ever use at least 3 drones now from Dji
Mini SE, Mini 4 Pro, and Neo

I bought from a local official store that is available here in Indonesia

If you want all in one drone I would recommend using Mini 4 Pro
It can be used with a variety of controllers like goggles 3 and RCs

No you didn't miss understand just the mini 4 pro is too much for me. I'm trying to get a new drone because my DJI neo got lost.

that is very unfortunate, you may able to report to Dji about flyaway aircraft, and if it's not human error, Dji may replace it as long the warranty is still available

I ever heard something about Dji Care Refresh but unfortunately, I can't provide a clear answer about that one, we don't have it here
