I have 4 DJI aircraft. 3 of them have offered me .srt files without issue. My Avata 2 does not - they are nowhere to be found. Cannot find an option in the Goggles 3 menu for subtitles. What am I missing? It's inconceivable to me that they are no longer a thing. Thanks.

I think the option for the Avata 2 was under Advanced Camera settings.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I indeed thought it would be under advanced camera settings, but my menu only had the first 3 options, stopping after automatically record on takeoff, I think it was.

I was able to solve the problem by resetting camera settings. That caused the advanced camera settings menu items to greatly expand and include the video subtitles option. Amusingly, I've had this excellent machine for quite a while and had never seen a srt file from it.

Any idea what setting I engaged to make the advanced camera settings menu reduce to only the first three items?

Thanks for the fast and accurate reply. That's where  I thought it oughta be, but for some reason my options stopped after the 3rd item auto record on takeoff. I was able to fix it by resetting camera settings, which immediately made the advanced camera settings menu return to proper long form.

Hi there, thank you for the update and we're glad to hear that the issue has been resolved. Sopmetimes, firmware glitches can cause unexpected behavior in camera menus. Resetting the camera settings might have resolved a temporary software error.

I saw that played quite spectacularly last month. What a killer gig, my 17th DT show.

Too bad there's not a commonly-known octocopter so I could shoehorn an Octavarium joke in here somewhere. So, I'll just have to defer to MOON ABOVE, SUN BELOW, which is my favorite Opeth track and a candidate for best song EVER.

At record signing in NY a few years ago, I was last in line and had the opportunity to speak at length with each member of the band. I lavishly praised Pale Communion, told Mike of my opinion of the song, and begged him to include in the next tour.

The next tour, they played it every show. I saw it twice. YOWZA! I've no idea if my plea was a factor. I'll ask him next time I see him.

I was so close to see DT last october in Rome but my flight didn't arrive on time for the concert.

I've spent some time in Italy but never got to see a gig there. Some of the best times in my life were spent at Amalfi. What a pleasant place.

I'm especially partial to DT's Systematic Chaos and Opeth's Watershed and the amazingly good Pale Communion album - Moon Above, Sun Below and River are two of the best songs I've ever heard. They are adventures, not mere songs.

Ghost Reveries is superb, tho - Perdition and Harlequin are crushingly good, as is the entire album.

I love discussing progressive metal. Cheers, friend \m/

Yeah, "Harlequin Forest" is my favourite from the album. From DT I love "In the name of god"
