The new Air 3/3s charger can function as a power bank with the USB C connector acting as an input to charge OR an output to supply power. I have the ABSURD SITUATION that when I plug the Air 3 charger into a 1000Wh power bank to charge the drone batteries, it drains the little Air 3 batteries to charge the 1000Wh power bank !!

Nothing I seem to try moves power towards the drone batteries, it always empties the drone batteries towards the enormous power bank.This is using the power bank (Anker 555) 100W USB C in/out port. If I use Anker's 60W output only port it will charge the drone batteries correctly, but more slowly of course.

Please, there must be some button, cable, or method to select the flow direction when both devices are capable of power input AND output ?

Kindly note the firmware of DJI Power 1000 needs to be upgraded to v01.00.07.00 in order to support the use of DJI Power SDC to DJI Air 3 fast charging cable for charging DJI Air 3S intelligent flight batteries and the SDC charging port requires using with the SDC cable to provide fast charging.

Can you explain please what SDC means in this context  ? Also note that although I put it in this thread, it's not a DJI power bank but an ANKER one.

SDC stands for Secondary Distribution Center.

hi there . you are writing in a DJI Power 1000 thread , so you got answers regarding power1000 from bots . Its more like you need creat a topic in Air3/3s category .  

An Anker Power Station, Air 3/s batteries....  this post is in the wrong place on so many levels!
