Just purchased the Osmo 7P. When using the multitrack how would I connect it to my iPhone 14 pro since it is not usb c and the adaptor cord is only usb c? How would I connect the mic mini as well if I cannot connect the multitrack to my phone?

Hi, there.
Thanks for your question.
Kindly remind you that if you have purchased the "DJI OM 7 Series Tracking Kit", the included "Phone Charging/Recording Cable" is only suitable for USB-C interface phones. If you need to connect to an iPhone with a lightning interface, you need to purchase an additional "Phone Charging/Recording Cable (USB-C to Lightning)".
Thanks for your understanding.

I'm thinking there needs to be a specific type of cable. The Multifunction device is paired but when I go into the Mimo app to the multifunction controls I try to click on where it says to connect using the provided cable and it displays in a dak mode as if the cable is not connected but it is.

I was told the #1 there is a special USB C to lightning cord needed and the tracking module does NOT work with the Mimo app at all. Until I get this unique cord (USB C to lightning) the mini mic will not work at all with the module. If I use the mic mini as Bluetooth with my phone then it does work. But I must use the iPhone camera or another camera app. Mimo is not an option.

That's what I'm thinking. I ordered one from B&H and it's the same cord. Fingers and toes crossed.

You can connect the dji mic mini to the iPhone via bluetooth, no cables required.

Please note that DJI OM Multifunctional Tracking Module only supports wireless pairing with DJI Mic Mini TX (transmitter).

You can connect the mini mic directly to the phone but the quality is less good. So the best option is to connect the mini mic through the multifunction module. I now ordered the stupid DJI dongle and hope it will work with this. If this doesn't work then the setup is useless for me.

I agree SAR_Dom. When I saw the advertisements and the functionality it described that's why I decided to purchase. I was also told that I cannot use the Mimo app even with the dongle. So what's the point? Which iPhone is needed to use the Mini Mic (USB C to USB C) that came with the packaging so that I can use it with the Mimo app? I have seen tutorials and YouTube videos where they are using the Mimo app with the Mini Mic and the multifunction module.

Just received the DJI phone charging /Audio recording cable (USB C to Lightning) today. IT WORKS. Now the Mic Mini connects ( I Can see it in the Mimo app)  and sounds great! However, when in the Mimo app the multifunctional module tracking does not work but the audio sounds great. Everything works on the native iPhone camera app, Blackmagic, and Moment camera apps. fyi..I have the iPhone 14 pro. I also must say they shipped it next day delivery.

SO it HAS TO BE DJI's cable..  I just ordered mine.
