I was flying my new Avata 2 this weekend, first time also with the FPV Controller 2 paired to my Goggles 3, and the drone had perfect signal, then out of nowhere lost connection, at 60% power.  Was hoping it would return to home, but never did.

Now trying to activate warranty for the 2 flyaway services, but their service is being zero help,.sending me generic instructions not related to the Avata 2, needing to provide flight records.  They say send from phone but it has no Avata 2 Records.  Tried connecting googles and remote to a PC but nothing happens to see if it loads a hard drive to pull data.

Is there something I am missing?  How to get flight logs, or is there none?

Sorry but once again being told incorrect information by DJI.  I am beginning to feel not a single DJI employee has a clue how their software works and how to problem solve outside incorrect links.  My DJI App, which is for the Avata 2, from the DJI Website, has no options in settings for Flight Sync.  Second, this only logs a flight once it has returned to pull the data off the drone.  This is zero help for a flyaway drone, which is why it's absurd that DJI states they require flight data to activate a warranty for a drone that covers 2 flyaways.  This is getting unsurd the lack of legitimate customer service DJI supplies.

You need to connect the goggles 3 to your phone using a type-c cable, open the dji fly app, and go to the flight data center menu, make sure there is internet and wait for everything to sync

Hi Christopher, we're truly sorry for hearing the frustrating experience you've had with your DJI Avata 2.

Regarding your situation, you can generate a Flyaway Aircraft Report following the steps in this guide: https://repair.dji.com/help/cont ... paperDocType=paper. For DJI Avata 2, it is necessary to connect the goggles to a mobile device (via cable) and log into the DJI Fly app with the bound account.

Our team is committed to resolving this issue for you as soon as possible. Please give us a chance to make things right. If you still fail to get the flight report or need further assistance, please feel free to let us know. We're here to support you throughout this process. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

The steps in the link provided do not work.  When I first reported this issue, I did it by clicking on that Report Flyaway button under device management.  Now when looking under my Avata 2, that option is not available.  I'm on the newest version of DJI Fly, Goggles 3 are bound, goggles connected to Android USB, even tried the Controller 3 also connected to goggles at same time, and that option is never available.  The customer support via email sent me same link and giving no way to finish this warranty service.  See attached pics.

Problem solved, due to Android 15 requires you to change USB from Charging to Data Transfer for DJI app to detect Goggles 3.
