The traditional FPV hobby has at last been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century with the introduction of the DJI Neo and Avata 2. For so many years FPV has relied on horrible grainy anolouge signal and has been the preserve of a strange bunch of stuck in the past stick jockeys who love connecting things to computers messing with peramiters they most likely don't understand. Batteries hung of weird contraptions with wires sticking out all over the place and the drones had no stability and constantly moved up and down. They cost a lot of money, frequently crashed and caused mayhem for the general public. But these pilots thought they were oh so clever

Now with the Neo, Avata2 and in particular the DJI Goggles N3 and the very excellent motion controller 3 we have sleek looking, very robust FPV drones that are reasonably priced, are set up by people who understand what they are doing, have excellent visual feedback to the goggles with unrivaled telementary, stability and smoothness and above all can be flown by most anyone with very little experience. They have excellent cameras and when wearing the goggles you feel like you are flying like a proper fighter jet not flicking and flopping all over the place in such a way that no real plane could ever fly.

Many thanks DJI and I like so many others would like to thank you for these wonderful products. All of us that understand are looking forward to the release of the next versions. Keep up the good work

And where do you think all the research and development came from?  Perhaps those strange bunch stuck in the past, connecting things to computers and having all those wires sticking out!

Ah ..., there we go again...

Read the first sentence of your message is enough to understand that the only reason that motivates your posts is the hate that you feel for the traditional FPV world and especially for any kind of controller except the motion controller 3.

The innovations that DJI has introduced to the FPV world are very good, I don't deny them, but you should investigate all the alternatives that you have in the market before typing threads in the forum.

Traditional FPV is nowadays in its best moment and you have alternatives to the analog signal (DJI Air Units, Walksnail video systems, HDZero...), wires inside closed frames, LI-ION batteries that can give you the same flight time than DJI batteries...

Don't be lazy and study the market. It's just an advice.

Have a good day.

If you want to fly with your goggles and DJI camera system like a fighter jet you need to build one of these -

The truth is, that you have FPV for people like Bigplump and you have people that wants to push the boundary a little further... There is room for every level... Not that bigplumb will ever know about it, because it seems that he has an opinion, without having the faintest idea on the subject!

Think of it as a mature child that still need guidance to delve into this wonderful hobby of RC...

I hope one day he will get there as well and look back and realise how silly those comments he's leaving here today actually are...

I find it very frustrating that he is judging the same people that helped FPV getting where it is today, without even realising it. You are right Bigplum. We did spend a lot of money in R&D, so that people like you can enjoy the hobby at an easy entry level today...

If you want to know what I'm talking about do a bit of researches on how DJI got into the RC market and what kind of electronic products they used to sell to people like us. If we didn't support them back then, you would have jack sh1t today to play with...

If I took the gyro out of any of your DJI drones, that you currently own now, you wouldn't even been able to hover in front of you for 10 second. And that's a fact!!!

So be thankful and not only to DJI, but to the entire RC community...

DA, that is amazing! Fantastic speed. Can't help thinking though......Design, Build, Fly, Crashland, Modify, Rebuild, Fly, Crashland, Redesign, Modify.......... You see where I'm going. I suppose for some, money is no object. Jealous, probably, but good luck to those who can afford it.

Yes I think you are spot on,  and as far as I know he's not made the STL files available to print your own.   But Id love to try it.     At least whilst we can,  the USA already banned this and I can't help but think the UK will too one day.

I have to disagree with any good mouth of DJI drones replacing tradition fpv. A motion controller is not even close to the amount of control a manual controller has. DJI fpvs are good for some beginners and that's all.

It's fine if you like DJI, I am also satisfied with a big amount of its products, but a lot of pilots are able to fly without stress with DJI and other brands products.

Just make hands and upgrade your abilites.

You should restart your motion controller 3, it seems that has left you without arguments or anything more interesting to say
