I wonder how long the Motion Controler 3 battery lasts.
I've charged it once or twice, but the battery seems to last a long time!
Is that normal?? I didn't use the Avata 2 for the last 15 days and today when I tried to charge the MC battery, it's full!!!

Does that happen to you too?

I'm afraid to fly and something can happen during the flight.

Lasts a long, long time.  Last time I used the MC3 was back in October.  Full charged, flew the Avata2 x 3 batteries for total MC3 on time for ~1 hr.  IIRC, maybe the 2nd or 3 rd time charged to from ~3 LEDs to full.  Total flights based on "Battery Count" was IIRC +60.

Since October using the DJI FPV RC3.  Battery like the MC3 last a long time.  

Guessing since it only needs power to transmit your inputs ~0.5 meters or less to you Goggles3 or N3, the power needs are minimal.

I normally check the capacity of all the batteries at least every 90 days.  MC3 which gets little if any use, I more or less ignore. It doesn't seem to self discharge significantly.  Couple days ago charging up to go fly I did check it.  Down to a solid 3 LEDs.  Fully charged it and placed in the sling bag just incase I need a backup to the RC3.

As I mentioned above, I charged the MC3 about 2 or 3 times in the last 6 months, and the battery practically never went down., although I haven't flown much with the Avata 2 because I also have a mini 4 Pro and I still do sports photography with a Canon camera. Thanks for the info, it helped me feel better about this.

The new MC and RC for the avata 2 don't broadcast their signal at the drone,    they use the goggles to relay the signal so it's all low energy bluetooth so it will last for ages.   

Yeah, it feels like it lasts forever

My motion controller also lasts for ages

Flew 3 batteries worth this morning with MC and goggles 3. MC still showing 4 solid green lights.
