Yup, the RC resets the photo mode every time to single shot mode.
So I have to select AEB-5 every time and apparently I clicked the multi shot mode instead of the AEB.
User error, although I don't think I should have to do that every time.

I'm sure they have dialed it in close to perfection. It's quite an efficient operation.
