Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Yes, the Mic Mini can be used to record audio directly to an Android phone. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Thanks Natalia. I bought the mics primarily to record audio on my phone in the field. I can't find any tutorials on how to do this. I can see how to connect it but then I get lost. Any help you can give is very much appreciated.

Thanks Natalia. I bought the mics primarily to record audio on my phone in the field. I can't find any tutorials on how to do this. I can see how to connect it but then I get lost. Any help you can give is very much appreciated.

Thank you for your response. You can follow the below steps given:

Transmitter Bluetooth connection to mobile device:

1) With the transmitter powered on, press and hold the transmitter pairing button for 2 seconds, and the transmitter system status indicator will flash blue and green alternately.
2) Enable Bluetooth on your phone, and select DJI Mic Mini-XXXXXX from the discovered Bluetooth devices to connect. The transmitter system status indicator will stay solid blue, indicating a successful connection.
Please note that this method allows the phone to receive audio through the transmitter. It supports parameter adjustment and firmware upgrades in the DJI Mimo APP. If you need to use the transmitter for audio reception, ensure that the parameter adjustment with TX is disconnected in DJI Mimo.

Receiver connection to mobile device via phone adapter (supports Android and iOS devices)

1) Remove the sliding cover at the bottom of the receiver and connect the phone adapter.
2) Then, with the receiver status indicator facing up, attach the adapter to the phone's data interface.
Please note that this method supports parameter adjustment for the receiver and transmitter in the DJI Mimo APP; it allows the phone to receive audio through the receiver. If audio transmission is needed, disconnect the receiver connection in DJI Mimo.
If you need to connect to a device with a Lightning interface, a Lightning adapter (sold separately) is required.

Thanks so much. The guides all refer to the audio as a component of video and not as a stand alone. I will have a play tomorrow with both the BT and the receiver connections to the phone and hope that I can use this to open voice notes. I really appreciate your help.
