Greetings everyone

After ages I've signed up on a forum and I've been following DJI since a few years, seeing them morph from drone market into a creator production is nothing short of impressive given their innovative products.

I recently wanted to upgrade to a cam from gopro hero 4, and I found the DJI Action 5 pro to be perfect, however, I also had insta360 in mind. Now, after seeing endless reviews on youtubs along with comparisons, DJI action 5 pro has superior quality, but the 360 aspect of insta360 device makes it stand out.

I've been rooting for dji to come out with a 360 camera so I can make a more informed decision since a few months now. However I always end up watching senselessly long yt videos around this rumour. I would like to know if anyone has any factual information on DJI and a more accurate release timeframe for the 360 camera from DJI that would be a direct competitor to the Insta360 line of 360 camera devices?

Thank you for your time. If I've made a mistake in typing this the way it is, please forgive me as it's been truly more than a decade I've asked anything on any forum.

Hi Karanveer. In the last few weeks started to appear some leaks of a 360º camera from DJI posted by the famous insiders: OsitaLV, Jasper Ellens, etc. So, I think that in few months we are going to see it

DJI's FCC filings refer to the Osmo 360 as the OQ-001.  Since it has met the FCC filing it shouldn't be too long before the release date.  Just guessing I'd say April time frame.  

The FCC filing for the DJI Osmo 360 is under registration key 2ANDR (DJI's Osmo division) .  https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/2ANDR-OQ0012024/

I do check or google every other day, which led me to just ask from the source forum of dji.
