I’m having a problem with the tilt axis on the new RS 4 Pro, and I do have the updated firmware installed.
I have a zoom lens, which I set to half zoom before I adjust the balance. I also have the dial set to adjust the tilt axis as needed while I have it in PF mode. However, at random times the tilt axis goes crazy and it’s like the motors give out. I have to double tap the trigger to recenter the gimbal and hope it doesn’t spaz out again. It’s well under the payload limit using a Sony a7IV with the Sony 24-70mm G II lens.
I had the same issue with the RS 3 Pro as well, but only after having it for about a year. Idk if the motors on the RS 3 Pro wore out, but that’s what I always assumed. The new RS 4 Pro is having the issue brand new out of the box.
Any tips on how to remedy the issue before I return it and go back to the RS 3 Pro?
