Just getting started with my Neo. Watching tons of videos and reading posts here. Using an iPhone 15, in Manual Mode, the DOWN button is obscured by the video control overlay. How do I get rid of the overlay? Thanks!

You can rotate the phone and use it in landscape aspect for a full screen view.

Tap the four corners box shape in the lower right side of the video feed.

Edit: you don't need to tap on the direction buttons, you can put your thumbs on the centre part and then slide on the screen in the direction you want.

Thanks for the quick reply, I thought I tried that, and the app didn't rotate. The Fly app starts in Landscape but when I switch to manual, it goes Portrait. Will try again.

You maybe could have your phone screen set to not rotate?

This should be something that you can change in the phone quick settings.

No, it rotates all the time with every other app...that's why I posted here, thought the Fly app was forcing it Portrait.

Also try using it like imaginary controller sticks.

Place thumbs on the centers and slide in the directions you want.
It acts like analogue sticks, the further away from the centre you push the more input. Close to the centre = slow movement Far away from the centre = fast movement.

I'm an Android user myself, hopefully an iOS user can suggest something, sorry.

Have you checked you are on the latest version of the app? I just tried the Fly app on my android phone to test that it still rotates the screen and there was an update available for Android.

Thanks for all the help, no need to say sorry lol. Just downloaded the app today, it's most current. Off to do some research on this, I can't be the only person having this issue...

Google Gemini suggested this.......

If the full-screen view in the DJI Fly app on your iOS device isn't working, try adjusting display settings ("Zoom" for iOS) or reinstalling the app after backing up important files.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of potential solutions:
Check Display Settings:
Go to your iPhone's "Settings" app.
Tap on "Display & Brightness".
Check the "Zoom" setting and ensure it's not set to "Zoomed" or a similar option that might be interfering with the app's display.

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!! That was it. Definitely a PITA to have to switch ZOOMED off and on but if that's what I have to do, I'll do it. Thank you so much!

Hi there,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. To address your concern, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Clear the cache on your mobile phone and ensure that your phone has enough available storage. Perform a hard restart of your device.
2. Check the app version. If the app is not the latest version, it is recommended to update it to the most recent version.
3. Clear the cache from the app itself for testing purposes. Please back up any app data if required.

If the issue persists, please provide the following information for further assistance:

• App version

We look forward to your response.

You wrote a good prompt to get the right info from the AI - just as if not more important than the AI itself. Kudos to you, sir!
