The Handle With 1/4″ Thread Adapter that comes with every Osmo Pocket 3 is extremely simple to use and allows for very quick mounting and dismounting - I am surprised to see the item is not listed on the official DJI Osmo Pocket 3 accessory catalogue!


Is there any way or any place to buy additional official DJI 1/4'' Thread Adapters for the Osmo Pocket 3?


I'd really like to buy half a dozen - I'd put them on specific tripods/grips/other accessories and leave them there permanently so I could quickly and easily switch between accessories by simply clipping off and clipping in my OP3 camera - having to unscrew the adapter every single time when switching tripods/arms/grips and other mounting accessories is a huge efficiency loss. I know there are a few after market ones, but they're not the same build quality and do not have the same size, format and weight

I am familiar with this one and other 3rd-party attachment option, but as indicated, I'm looking for official DJI OP3 1/4'' thread adapters so they have the same shape, size and weight as some of my accessories are also adjusted for the size and weight of the official 1/4'' thread adapter

I have successfully bought a 2nd one for my pocket3 (don't want third aliexpress part).

Had to talk to their store support, a nice guy has helped me and has done everything for me to buy it.
I have got then a link on my email to pay for it - Paypal.
I find it was really a lowprice for EU.

Very fast delivery and no problem at all.

I have also asked why they don't sell it on the store: they don't really know why, but I have received mine without any box, only the same plastic bag as in the full package
So it seems that DJI did not plan to sell it apart

Yes, it costs me 10€ including shipping to France  
But I can not tell you if this is the general price for the handle  

The exact name of the handle in my invoice is "Handle With 1/ 4'' Thread Module"

Just finished my Online Chat session with a lovely and helpful representative - they lead me to a special ''Accessory Request Registration Form'' where I put all my info and details of the accessory in question and we'll see how it goes!
I do think it'd be perfect if they sold the accessory officially and separately - but as long as there are ways to get them it's fine ahahaha

Looking for the item on other stores/retailers/platforms yields no results as the accessory in question is not sold by DJI officially/publicly

I have followed previous advice and got in touch with customer service directly, they gave me a link to a special accessory/replacement form and I am currently awaiting a reply, hoping I can order a few extra of those accessories, otherwise their sadly not officially listed nor sold by DJI on a consumer level manner

I truly hope DJI is thinking about selling it separately like they do their carry case, mini tripod and most other accessories! There seems to be a pretty sizeable demand if we go by other discussions/threads

I haven't gotten a case or ticket number, it was all done through the online chat tool - here are some screenshots (relevant to the request) I've grabbed;







I've filled the provided form within minutes of receiving it, haven't yet received a confirmation mail from that form either, but it did point out I can expect 3-5 (or so) business days for a reply to the email provided

The only question I have (again) for the forum support is why this item is not avalaible in the online store ?
If it is not in the online store, it is not likely to be sold in the retail store.

I think we (@ProtoMarcus and me) are not the only one who would like to have the genuine part for our great Pocket3

I am Canadian so that's about 14.37$CA and I had 12$US Delivery fee - about 17$CA

I've requested for 6 pieces!

72$US for 6 pieces and delivery, around 103$CA total, very reasonable

I echo your sentiment - I feel DJI should definitely ''officially'' offer and sell the 1/4'' Thread Adapter, there is definitely a demand if we go by this forum, Reddit and any other social platforms!

I feel a 15-20$US MSRP would be quite reasonable too!

Me: I have bought one to put on my desk lamp upside down to make some video for my very little youtube channel (not professionnal) "ceut electronic".
I don't do any video editing or anything else (as I don't know really do this), I only share my electronic knowledge with filming what I'm doing .
