During my walk along the canal towpath  this morning, I spotted this activity.First filmed with the Pocket2, last summer, I thought a comparison with the performance of the Pocket3, with its improved Zoom feature, might be interesting

I don't think the difference is visible when you post it in 1080p

The P3 display was always fine - which is why I didn't realise the problem until l viewed the downloaded footage on my laptop.

No, it's a dry-dock for working on the boats.

Yeah, it's the HDR option that was bugging you.
So far that seems to have various standards what apps do with this.

Did you notice how steady the footage was, as well?  And that was without the Monopole.
The P3 seems to cancel out some of the shakiness.

I was seated, holding it in both hands, forearms on knees - which helped.

Well its a better view that street view.   Hes rather clever though,  I wonder if it's one piece.

Hard to tell at that distance. Unlike the other one, it can't be an old tree stump, as the were no trees there. So it must have been carved elsewhere and placed there at some point.

OP3 was a worthy upgrade to the OP2.  With my old eyes I was super pleased to see a bit larger screen for starters amongst other upgrades.

either way its still rather good.

The slight downside is, it's physically bigger and heavier than the P2 and has that large-ish bag for accessories. Which negates the "Pocket" name, really.

For sure. The canopy us great. We dont see that either.
