I have just bought one of these. I CANNOT switch it off. It will ONLY enter sleep mode. Somehow I have activated that and now I cant get out of it. HELP

Also, osmo action 5 Pro extends the sleep standby time to 8 hours to provide a better boot experience, allowing users to capture moments more quickly. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Why does every user manual I can find state that if you press the power button for 2 seconds then it will say 'powering off' on the screen.

I have tried to explain that the above instruction does NOT work. It simply puts the camera into sleep mode.
