Thank you @" DJI Natalia ", I will make use of the service that you did suggest.
However the fundamental issue still resides with the design of Avata 2 regardless if I did contact customer service for repairs.
There are many videos, as you are aware, that demonstrate the infamous Avata 2 "Death Roll".
Yet having to experience this "Death Roll" every time I fly my Avata 2 manually and crash the drone is absurd. I cannot fly Avata 2 with peace in mind. It is like having a broken toy that I know I might get some time out of it before it freaks out completly at the first round. I do not see Avata 2 as a drone I can trust flying manually, like I have to pretend mentally there is no option to fly this FPV drone in manual mode.
Otherwise, Avata 2 is a very great drone that I enjoy every aspect of it via the RC Motion.
The Avata 2 is a flawed drone in its design. One expects some action from DJI to correct this issue, like a recall of the product; or better, a recall of the product to replace the drone with a better designed Avata 2.
I went ahead and purchased another drone, the frame type drone, and invested in another video system FPV (analogue) thus I can fly 'manually' without fear of sudden losing control of the UAV due to bad engineering of the vehicle.
This decision was inspired by the continuous failure that Avata 2 is demonstrating as a flying machine. I think I won't invest much in DJI drones from now on, in regard of any coming drone that is able to fly manually via FPV (Avata 3 may be?).
I did not expect this from DJI, a seriously flawed drone that is marketed as a fully functioning drone.
Thank you |
