I recently purchased a Mavic Mini, but it won’t connect to my Apple iPad 9.7 (iOS 15). I’ve read several threads about similar issues, and I assumed DJI had resolved them; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to use my new Mavic Mini.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this?

Did you download the latest version of the DJI Fly App (V1.16.4) from the official DJI Download Center?  

If so, did it install correctly?

What error are you getting?

You could always upload a short video showing what is happening to get better assistance.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have the latest version of the DJI Fly App and the iPad is also up to date. I wrote to the DJI official support and they answered that this is a recognized error in which they are working to solve.
According to them, the provisional solution is connecting RC to a power bank and then, the iPad will be prompted in the DJI Fly App. Then, I could disconnect the power bank from the RC... I have not verified this yet.

I have no idea how that would resolve the issue but I hope it works for you, at least until they find a permanent fix.

During testing of the iPadOS 14, the iPad could be connected normally to the DJI Fly app. However, when the iPad is updated to iPadOS 15, the connection may fail. The DJI engineers are currently working on to resolve this issue. Currently, if you want to use an iPad to connect to the remote controller, you can use a portable power source. Connect the remote controller to the iPad when charging the remote controller. After a connection prompt appears on the app, remove the remote controller’s charging cable. If you have urgent recording tasks, we recommend that you try an iPad with a system version prior to iPadOS 15 or an Android mobile device to avoid disconnection issues. Hello, I can not do that, since the RC has just one port: or charging or connecting iPad, but I can not connecting iPad while RC is charging.
Probably, I am doing something bad… Please, could I get help?
