Nice job. Around the 50 second mark what did you change? Your whites were a bit blown out a bit and then they recover a bit later. Were you using a Polarizer?

No, the lighting change at :50 was done in post. The trees and sides of the beach were way to dark so I lightened it up on that clip. I should have lightened it up less.

Nope, no polarizer.

The transition probably would have worked better if you made the change gradually. You did a nice job on the video and the exposure was great. I like the punch with that type of exposure.

I have done the same. You can only work on a project for so long. To long and the fun goes away. Again,  you did a fine job.
