Yep, when I start to connect the wires to the ESC I will add more solder to the pads

Iflight recommends installing an additional capacitor if you're mounting a 7-inch or larger drone.

If there's room for it Id be tempted to add it anyway,   there's nothing much to loose and it might help the ESC in the long run.

I'll consider it, but I won't buy the O4 until late March/April. Then I'll see how empty space is.

I wanted to achieve a couple of things,   one long time and fast,  but it appears I can't have both in the same drone,   Id also really like beta flight 4.6 for better landings.

For long range I personally prefer 7 inch drones or higher and use li-ion batteries, something like the Chimaera

I was aiming for something under 250g assuming smaller batteries to give me some extra flexibility but in the future I may have to expand the fleet.

This year I'll stick with the 5-inch. Next year, if I don't spend an arm and a leg due to accidents, I'll consider upgrading to the 7-inch.
